Recipes
A recipe is a plain-language, step-by-step guide for getting one specific piece of quality-measure data out of one specific EHR over FHIR — for example, HbA1c lab results from Epic for a diabetes measure. Each recipe says which FHIR resources to request, in what order, what to watch for, and how to check the data is complete.
Recipes never contain patient data, credentials or copies of vendor documentation, and each one shows when it was last verified. EHR behaviour changes; a recipe not verified in over a year is flagged so you know to double-check it.
